The hotel is a very convenient stopover en route to the highlands, offering comfy and clean rooms with very comfortable beds and lovely views from the balcony. The service is top-notch, with friendly and accommodating staff who made our stay with a 9-week old baby pleasant and hassle-free. The location is superb, quiet despite its closeness to the motorway, and the surroundings are among the best in the UK. The dining experience provided a relaxing break from the road with a nice choice of breakfast options. However, the overall upkeep felt a bit unkempt compared to our previous visit.

I stayed in a Lake View room which was VERY quiet. The rooms are a little tired and in need of an update; however, they are very clean, and the staff is wonderful. The room I had was very big and had everything needed, even had a pen and paper. The rooms were basic, very clean, and comfortable, with amazing views if you have a room to the rear.

After a long motorway journey, I found this hotel to be clean, comfortable, and with amazing views, especially from rooms at the rear. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel safe. I would definitely go back there again.
